From the President's Desk

On behalf of the dynamic and dedicated mothers of the Greater North Atlanta Chapter I want to welcome you and thank you for visiting our website.  We have been happily serving our community since we were chartered in 2010.

It has been the objective of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. since our founding on January 24, 1938 that we create a medium of contact for children that will stimulate growth and development.  We do that locally by providing monthly programming in educational, cultural, civic, recreational, health, and social experiences.  We strongly believe these opportunities will help develop well rounded future leaders of our community.

We strive as a local chapter to encourage our children and teens to be servant leaders by engaging in local community service with NFCC, Fostercare Support Foundation, and many others monthly.  Our mother members have provided community service with Rainbow Village, and Every Woman Works as well as our STEM conference with inner city schools.  We provide philanthropic giving with our financial support of the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc , Arise and Bold and Breastless, Inc. charities for breast cancer with our annual Bowling for Boobies event.  Please view the history of our chapter section on this site for more examples of our programs over the years.

We also have a robust Father's Auxiliary that is active, engaged, and always there to provide support.  They facilitate oratorical workshops, career fairs for the children and teens.  They compete on bowling teams for our annual BFB event and so much more.

I am excited to serve as President for 2017-2019!  I have the pleasure of serving with an accomplished executive board and we plan to strengthen GNAC families with healthy mothers, healthy children, and healthy communities.

Dr. Sharon January

President, GNAC
